NORDICS - Nordic people are world leading innovators

The most innovative countries have had 'strong productivity growth over the past decade' and 'high graduation rates from tertiary education'.

Together with the US and Japan, the Nordics are placed ahead of France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, which have above-average innovation performance. The report states that Southern and Central Europe need stronger product market competition to improve innovation conditions.
