UK - Impax appoints managing director
Renewable energy-focused investor Impax Asset Management has hired Daniel von Preyss as managing director of private equity for the Impax New Energy Investors LP fund (NEI).
von Preyss will be responsible for leading transactions, assisting with exits and trading with buyers of renewable power generation within NEI.
Prior to joining Impax, von Preyss worked for Babcock & Brown, where he was responsible for its Northern European infrastructure activities, focusing on regulated utilities, gas storage and broader power generation. He also held previous positions at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup on their energy and utilities teams.
