NL - Aletra to acquire DA Retailgroep
Aletra Capital Partners has reportedly agreed to acquire DA, a retailer of cosmetics and beauty products.
Aletra intends to revive the company, which is currently suffering from price competition from retailers such as Etos and Kruitvat, by doubling its number of stores over the next five to seven years. DA reduced its number of outlets from 700 stores to 430 stores over the past couple of years, as a result of the aforementioned competition. The company records a turnover of EUR 450m.
