General Motors launches venture fund
General Motors has launched a $100m venture capital fund, targeting automotive-related technologies.
The fund, General Motors Ventures, will invest in innovative technologies outside of the company.
It plans to work in conjunction with other venture investors and is currently looking at a number of automotive technology opportunities.
The fund will be headed by Jon Lauckner, who joins as president of the fund from 1 July.
