
GERMANY - DLA Piper bolsters German team
DLA Piper has appointed M&A partner Dr Christoph Papenheim to its German Corporate and M&A practice. Papenheim joined DLA Piper in mid-January 2008 from the Frankfurt office of White & Case, together with associate Sven Friedrich. Papenheim has 12 years’ M&A experience and his practice also includes corporate and trade law. Prior to joining DLA Piper, he was a partner at White & Case, foccusing mainly on cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, as well as M&A arbitration proceedings. He advises multinational corporations, particularly those in the automotive, construction, and water sectors. Moreover, he has significant experience advising Indian companies, and is qualified both in Germany and New York.
