UK - LDC recruits in the Midlands
LDC has strengthened its team in the Midlands with the appointment of Tim Newman as business development director.
He will work closely alongside the already-strong LDC Birmingham team to build upon recent successes, which include major investments in Paragon Print and Packaging Limited (PPP) and Ramesys Education Software and high profile exits from Electrium and Steelite.
An associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Newman will be responsible for identifying potential investment opportunities for LDC and expanding the firm’s existing contacts network across the Midlands.
Martin Draper, regional director of LDC in the Midlands said: 'The recent high levels of deal activity are testament to the individual and combined strength of the existing LDC team in Birmingham. Tim’s appointment will provide an even greater breadth and depth to the team and will cement our position as the backer of choice for the area’s most promising and talented management teams'.
