
GERMANY - Finatem announces three investments
Finatem Beteiligungsgesellschaft has announced three investments from its latest fund Finatem II. The financial investor has acquired the Schwinn Group as part of a management buy-in as well as Deutsche Notrufzentralen und Sicherheitsdienste Holding GmbH (DNZ Group) from several private investors. The transaction values have not been disclosed. Additionally, Finatem’s portfolio company Mecanindus-Vogelsang has acquired US-based Vogelsang Corporation from its founders. Following the acquisition, the two companies have merged to form the Mecanindus-Vogelsang Group.
Headquartered in Ober-Ramstadt, Schwinn Group is a European producer of decorative furniture fittings made of die-cast metal and plastics and has a wide variety of furniture producers as customers. The company employs 320 staff and has operations in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and China.
The DNZ Group provides full scope security services including guarding, beat patrol, alarm centre connections (ACC), reception services and facility management services. US-based Vogelsang Corporation was founded by the Vogelsang family in 1972 and produces spring pins, compression limiters and bushings for the automotive sector in the US.
