
NETHERLANDS - Carlyle and Oranje Nassau Groep to acquire Stahl Holdings
Carlyle and Oranje-Nassau Groep (ONG) have signed an agreement to acquire Stahl Holdings BV from affiliates of Investcorp.
Stahl Holdings is a leading surface effects specialist, providing a broad range of formulated products and services in both leather chemicals and non-leather high performance coatings. Headquartered in the Netherlands, it operates through nine manufacturing sites and 26 technical service laboratory facilities, and sells its products into 66 countries worldwide, thereby generating EUR 307m of consolidated revenues. ONG and Carlyle intend to consolidate Stahl's world leadership position in leather finish and to further develop its permuthane business, both through organic growth as well as via add-on acquisitions.
