UK - Risk Capital closes first fund on £75m

The fund received subscriptions from blue chip institutional investors based in the UK, Europe and the US. The founders of Risk Capital also provided a significant amount.

The fund will invest in expansion deals in the UK and is hoping to take advantage of opportunities offered by the credit crunch.

Risk Capital Partners has also moved offices and is now at 9 Grafton Mews in Fitzrovia, central London.
