
GERMANY - BWK sells EGO to owners
BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft has sold its 20% stake in industrial components maker EGO Group to the owning families Blanc and Fischer.
Each family will acquire a 10% interest and will own 50% of the company post-transaction.
The company's customers include the automotive industry, manufacturers of kitchen appliances, and all industries that require regulated heat for their industrial processes and goods. The company is headquartered in Oberderdingen, was founded in 1931 and hat a turnover of EUR 560m with 6,600 people in 2008.
BWK invested in EGO in 2001.
