Investinor, the Norwegian government-backed venture fund established in the autumn of 2008, has now completed the formation of its investment team with ten new hires.
Former Ernst & Young consultant Kay Meløysund, former project manager at SIVA Innovasjon Janne Bøklepp, and Inge Hovd Gangås, previously senior project manager of Nanotechnology at NTNU Technology Transfer, have all been appointed investment associates.
Tor Helmersen has resumed the role of CFO, a role he previously held at Fosen Trafikklag ASA.
From February, former vice president of corporate procurement support at StatoilHydro ASA, Asle Jostein Hovda, will also join as an investment director. At the same time Rune Sævik, who currently works in media relations for the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, will join Investinor and be responsible for communication and media relations.
Geir Ove Kjesbu heads the Trondheim-based team, supported by project co-ordinator Bjørn Løvlie. Katrin Haram is the office manager. The venture fund expects to make its first investments in Q2.
