FRANCE - Siparex records active 2005
Siparex has dubbed itself as the leading independent private equity investor in France’s middle market. Although investments over the past year were 11% lower than the amounts recorded in 2004, its exits have doubled and gross capital gains nearly tripled, up by 259%. The group claims to be the only independent investor with a multi-regional organisation and registered EUR 940m under management on 31 December 2005. It invests via specialised subsidiaries active in venture capital (22% of funds under management) and in regional growth capital (8%).
