
FRANCE - Céréa and Banexi acquire Martine Spécialités
Céréa Capital and Banexi Capital Partenaires have acquired frozen food producer Martine Spécialités from listed UK group Premier Foods in a managment buyout.
Martine Spécialités has a production plant in Condat-sur-Trincou and specialises in the manufacture of frozen pastries. The company reported turnover of EUR 74m in 2008 and employs 390 staff.
The backers and the management plan to develop an accelerated growth plan in France and abroad. In order to do so, the production plant will undergo a EUR 7m extension project.
