HgCapital has stengthened its consumer and leisure sector team with the appointment of Jason Khaksar and Sophie Albizua.
Khaksar joins the company following twelve years at KPMG Corporate Finance, where he advised on many mid-market private equity transactions, including the de-listing of Hamleys and the buyouts of Select Service Partner from the Compass Group Plc and the Tussauds Group.
Albizua joins the company from Change Capital Partners, where she spent four years working on European private equity transactions including the acquisitions of Robert Dyas and Hillarys Blinds. She has over eight years transaction experience in retail and consumer goods and has previously spent three years at Goldman Sachs, working in the consumer and retail mergers and acquisitions team.
