NL - Esprit Capital Partners leads EUR 2m round for semiconductor company
Esprit Capital Partners has invested a further EUR 900,000 in Xanadu Wireless BV in a EUR 2m funding round. The balance was provided by existing investors GIMB and Motorola Ventures.
Based in Utrecht, Xanadu is a fabless semiconductor company, which provides products for the wireless sensor market based on the IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee standards. The round coincided with the company’s acquisition of Ubiwave NV, a Belgian wireless systems company. The investors had participated in a EUR 6.1m financing round for Xanadu May 2006.
