UK - HarbourVest promotes four investment staff
HarbourVest Partners today announced the promotions of four senior investment professionals. Kevin S Delbridge was named senior managing director, Michael W Taylor was named managing director, and Julia H Ocko and Scott C Voss were promoted to principals of the firm.
Taylor joined HarbourVest in 1998 as a vice president focusing on direct investments into growth companies. Since that time he was promoted twice and expanded his investment focus to include secondary partnerships. As a managing director, Taylor will further expand his focus to include working with the primary partnership group in all facets of its business. He received a BS from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Taylor also serves on the advisory boards of several partnerships and companies.
Ocko joined HarbourVest in 2001 as a member of the primary partnership team focusing her efforts on U.S. venture capital and buyout investments. Since that time she has expanded her responsibilities within the primary partnership group, and with this promotion, she will be taking a more senior role managing the primary partnership programs. Ocko holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. She also serves on the advisory boards of several funds. Voss joined HarbourVest as an intern in 1999, and rejoined the firm’s primary partnership investment team after receiving his MBA from Babson College later that year. While at HarbourVest, he has focused most of his efforts on US venture capital and leveraged buyout investing within the primary partnership group. He has also focused extensively on partnerships investing in Israel and Latin America and has collaborated with the secondary partnership group on several opportunities. He will continue to expand his responsibilities within the primary partnership team. Voss also holds a BSBA in Marketing from Bryant College, and he serves on the advisory boards of several funds.
