SWITZERLAND – Invision acquires SEG
Invision Private Equity AG has acquired a majority stake in Swiss Education Group Ltd (SEG) from the founder, who remains a minority stakeholder and president of the administrative board.
SEG is the holding company for ten companies: four schools for hotel management (HIM, Hotel Institute Montreux; IHTTI School of Hotel Management, Neuchatel; SHMS Centre of Excellence, Caux; and SHMS University Centre, Leysin), one language school (SLC Cours de Langues SA), two real estate companies (BMB Immobilier SA, Hotel Europe SA), one fast-food company and two recruitment and personnel service agencies in Singapore and Germany. The four schools for hotel management teach around 3,000 students every year, whereas the language school has about 1,000 enrolled students every summer.
