
HarbourVest promotes Flower
HarbourVest Partners has named Tim Flower as managing director in a promotion from his previous position of principal.
Flower joined HarbourVest's secondary team in London in 2008 from Bridgepoint. Notable secondary deals worked on by Flower include Project Hermanus IV, a secondary direct acquisition of five South African businesses from a Johannesburg-based bank, and Project Beijing, the purchase of stakes in eight China-based companies.
Prior to joining HarbourVest, Flower was an associate at Bridgepoint, responsible for origination, deal execution and portfolio management in the UK and Nordic regions.
Prior experience includes associate roles with MCF Corporate Finance and Nordea Securities.
Flower holds a degree in economics from the University of Nottingham.
