
UK - Bridges Ventures exits Insurance Dialogue
Bridges Ventures has sold portfolio brokerage company Insurance Dialogue to trade buyer Equity Insurance Group for an undisclosed sum.
In 2005, Bridges Ventures invested £1m into Insurance Dialogue as part of a £1.7m first round of the funding for the company. Over the course of the investment, the company built a new call centre in Bournemouth, which created a number of new jobs.
Dorset-based Insurance Dialogue is an insurance broker that offers tailored insurance products to the over-50s market. Since its inception in January 2004, the business has operated through its trading name insure4retirement.co.uk. The company has call centres in Falmouth, Plymouth and Bournemouth.
Equity Insurance Group is an insurance underwriter.
