
GERMANY - HgCapital exits Schenck Process via sale to Industri Kapital
Industri Kapital has acquired Schenck Process, a provider of industrial weighing, feeding, screening and automation equipment, from HgCapital. HgCapital bought Schenck in 2005 from D ürr AG and has grown the workforce to approximately 1,800 employees. HgCapital made one bolt-on acquisition during its two-year ownership, acquiring Stock Equipment, a coal power equipment developer and manufacturer. Schenck is headquartered in Darmstadt and has revenues of around EUR 350m. HgCapital was advised by Greenhill and Clifford Chance. Industri Kapital was advised by Sal. Oppenheim, Lazards and Freshfields.
