SWITZERLAND - BioMedPartners strengthens management team
Basel-based BioMedPartners has strengthened its management team with the addition of Dr Andreas J Schulze and the promotion of Patrick Burgermeister.
Schulze is a biochemist and industrial engineer who joins from biotechnology company Neurotune, where he held the position of CEO. Between 2000 and 2005, Dr. Schulze headed the biotech team at the German venture capital firm DEWB AG in Jena.
Burgermeister has been promoted to principal. He joined the team in 2006 from Novartis, where he was senior portfolio manager responsible for the evaluation and prioritisation of development projects.
