FRANCE - CAPE makes 3x from sale of Béryl to Vivarte
The sale by Crédit Agricole Private Equity of shoe distributor Béryl to Charterhouse-backed Vivarte has been approved by market authorities.
The deal, which resulted from an unsolicited approach, was announced earlier this year, as Vivarte was completing its own buyout by Charterhouse.
Béryl posted revenues of EUR 64m in 2006.
