LDC has boosted its Manchester new business team with the appointment of Jonathan Bell.
Bell began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, before moving to Deloitte six years ago. While at Deloitte, Bell worked on deals including the MBO and refinancing of fashion group Americana and the BIMBO of mail order sportswear retailer M&M.
Most recently, Bell advised publishing group McMillan-Scott on its acquisition by Ten Alps, Sir Bob Geldof's TV production group, for up to £12.25m.
Bell has worked alongside LDC on a number of previous deals, including the MBO and disposal of financial services group HFS. He also advised on its investment in, and subsequent disposal of, Philip Redmond’s Mersey TV to ALL3Media.
