GERMANY - Caledonia leads MBO of Tractebel Gas Engineering GmbH

Caledonia will own 49.9% and TGE’s existing management will own 40% of a new acquisition vehicle established for this transaction. The vehicle will intitially buy 75% of TGE and then plans to acquire the remaining 25% in the next 2 years. Glenalta Capital LLP will hold the remaining 10.1%.

TGE operates on a global basis, specializing in gas engineering and focusing on turnkey design and build solutions for gas storage and transportation. Its management team will remain unchanged, led by Vladimir Puklavec, CEO, who says, 'Now with Caledonia we hope to develop this platform and capture the value that is coming from rapid growth across our markets and products.'
