
Pamplona appoints Rapallo as operating partner

Pamplona Capital Management has supplemented its deal team with the hire of Pedro Rapallo and bolstered its focus on the Iberian countries.
In his new position, Rapallo will drive new investment opportunities focusing on Spain and Portugal. A Spanish national, Rapallo has 20 years of business and consulting experience.
Most recently, he worked as a partner and managing director at The Boston Consulting Group with a focus on financial services in Iberia and wholesale transactional banking globally. Prior to this role, he worked for Oliver Wyman as a partner focusing on corporate strategy, wholesale banking, and risk and capital management.
Pamplona is a London- and New York-based specialist investment manager established in 2005. It is currently managing its fourth private equity fund, Pamplona Capital Partners IV, which raised €3bn in 2014 and has already made acquisitions in the US and Europe.
