NORWAY - Norvestor's Panorama buys Gullegget and Juvelen
Panorama has acquired jewellery retail chains Gullegget and Juvelen for an undisclosed sum. The transaction will increase Panorama's sales by around NOK 50m.
Gullegget and Juvelen operate in Rogaland and Eastern Norway respectively. These acquisitions are part of Panorama’s strategy of increasing its retail coverage and will bring the number of shops that Panorama owns or franchises up to 47. Panorama, which has 115 staff, is a supplier of jewellery products and the owner of jewellery chain Gullfunn. In 2005, Panorma recorded turnover of NOK 230m. Funds managed by Norvestor Equity AS acquired 75 % of the Panorama group in 2005.
