
UK - Double appointment at MTI Partners
MTI Partners, the technology venture capital investor has made two new appointments. Sarah Bates joins the board of MTI as a non-executive director. Bates, who has a BA in Law from Cambridge University and an MBA from the London Business School, worked for many years at Invesco Asset Management, where until 2003 she was CEO Invesco Institutional (UK) having also managed their specialist funds business. She has particular expertise in investor relations, governance and financial education and is an adviser to the East Riding Pension Fund, Merseyside Pension Fund and the Royal College of Surgeons investment committee and a member of the investment committees of Newnham College, Cambridge and the Cancer Research UK Pension Fund.
