DACH - German Private Equity Partners in liquidation
German Private Equity Partners, which was founded in August 2007, is being liquidated.
Originally, the Zug-based firm planned to raise between EUR500-750m for buyouts of mid-sized companies. While the firm secured commitments from some investors, the post-Lehman crisis made it impossible to secure further capital.
Founding partners of the private equity firm were ex-CEO of Deutsche Telekom Kai-Uwe Ricke, Claus Peter, Hartmuth Jung and Michael Gotthelf.
