Capital Dynamics' Lichtner to stand down from operational duties
Katharina Lichtner, co-founder and managing director of Capital Dynamics, will step down from her operational role at the firm and act as senior adviser as part of a wider senior management reshuffle.
Lichtner will be a member of the company's board and act as vice chair of its investment committee, remaining a public ambassador for the firm.
Managing director Georges Georgiou has been named chief operating officer of the firm and will join the company's executive committee. Georgiou joined Capital Dynamics in 2006.
Director Emma Anderson has been officially appointed chief financial officer after a period as acting CFO, replacing Stefan Ammann who was appointed CEO in July. Anderson joined Capital Dynamics in 2008.
Managing director Mark Drugan, responsible for the firm's European mid-market activity, has been appointed head of investment management Europe. Drugan has around 25 years' experience in European private equity and sits on the advisory boards of five European GPs.
The latest news comes after another busy period of promotions at the firm, which saw five promoted to managing director in 2012. In August, the company announced the closure of its Zurich office, relocating staff to Zug and London.
