UK - Smedvig portfolio company appoints new CEO

Uprichard joins the company from Coca Cola, where he founded and led the team behind rapidly growing energy drink Relentless, which has reached a turnover of £15m in just over two years. He has also previously spent periods with for L'Oreal and Unilever. He joins a team which has a wealth of experience in the drinks industry including chairman Harry Drnec, former CEO and chairman of Red Bull UK, and COO Andrew King, who was previously CEO of PJ Smoothies.

The move follows the recent £4m investment made by Smedvig into SUSO.
