UK/GERMANY - Latham & Watkins elects 30 new partners

Six of the partners will be based in London: Gail Crawford, a corporate attorney focusing on technology, intellectual property and commercial law; Stephen Fietta, a litigator specialising in public international law and international arbitration; Reena Gogna, a finance attorney with experience in general banking and finance; Antti Ihamuotila, a corporate lawyer with a focus on equity and debt capital markets, M&A and public company representation; Andy Kolacki, a finance attorney focusing on general banking and acquisition finance; and Jeffrey Lawlis, a corporate lawyer working from London and Milan with a focus on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, company representation and general security matters.

The firm has also elected three new partners in Germany for its Hamburg office: Tobias Klass, a tax attorney who specialises in M&A tax issues and international tax structures for inbound private equity sponsors and real estate investment funds; Christian Thiele, a corporate attorney with a wide range of expertise in real estate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity; Stefan Widder, a corporate attorney with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and securities law.
