Morrisons chairman joins Warburg Pincus
Warburg Pincus has appointed Andrew Higginson, currently chairman of supermarket chain Morrisons, as a senior adviser.
In his new role, Higginson will support the firm in identifying and evaluating investments in the European consumer and retail sector.
In addition to his position at Morrisons, Higginson also chairs N Brown Group and McCurrach. He is also a director of Woolworths South Africa and the Rugby Football Union. He was previously chairman of Poundland, senior independent director of BSkyB and an executive director of Tesco.
