SPAIN - Candover is the most likely buyer of Parques Reunidos

M&A boutique Socios Financieros, which is coordinating the sale, has postponed the final deadline for the submission of offers until next Thursday. According to market sources, the finalists CVC, Apax and the Tussauds Group will try to match the EUR 900m that Candover is reportedly prepared to pay for the company.

This will be the first deal of Candover in Spain. The firm's head Javier Abad is understood to have offered the sum, which is considered as an extreme move, since the initial auction price was EUR 650m.
