Goldman Sachs has appointed Alasdair Warren as the new head of its financial sponsors group for the EMEA region.
Warren already has a history with Goldman Sachs, having been hired as a managing director in 2005. The investment bank then made him a partner in 2008.
Prior to his new appointment, Warren most recently worked as the head of ECM, convertibles, and equity derivatives for EMEA at Goldman Sachs' London branch. He has previously worked as the head of financing in the Middle East and Asia, when he was based in the bank's Dubai office. Warren has also acted as co-head of investment banking in the UK for the firm.
