
ITALY - 3i to float Giochi Preziosi in 15 months
According to Italian press reports, toy manufacturer Giochi Preziosi is to list in the Milan Stock Exchange before the end of H1 2008.
The company's president Enrico Preziosi and Sergio Sambonet, 3i's Italian head, have reportedly said that although the percentage to be offered is still uncertain, at least 30% of the company will be put up for sale. 3i acquired 51,71% of Giochi Preziosi in 2005, in a deal worth approximately EUR 500m. The company expects to post a turnover of around EUR 723m in June this year.
