FINLAND - Amanda plans to establish Russian and Eastern European fund-of-funds
Amanda Capital is planning to establish a fund-of-funds to invest in Russian and Eastern European private equity vehicles.
‘Amanda’s personnel has followed the market and funds operating there for a long time and made investment commitments in this market. The new fund offers an excellent tool for investors to diversify their private equity portfolio to an interesting market,’ says Amanda’s CEO Petteri Änkilä.
Amanda Capital Plc will commit EUR 10m from its own balance sheet in the fund. Having reached an average 30% IRR on its private equity fund investments since inception, Amanda will continue with its successful selection process in terms of managers. The group is a publicly listed Finland-based fund-of-funds and currently has investments in 21 different private equity funds.
