FRANCE - UFG Private Equity boosts its investment team

Jean-François Dufrasne was previously investment director for IDI, where he made direct investments in French SMEs and worked on the acquisitions of funds on the secondary market. He also has a background in due diligence, with stints at LEK Consulting in London, and Arthur D. Little in Paris.

Laurent Nicolas previously worked as an investment executive at Fortis Private Equity France, where he specialised in growth capital and buyouts. Prior to this, he spent two years developing the financial engineering and private equity capabilities of the Banque Populaire de Lorraine. He also participated in the launch of North-Eastern France small-cap investor Eurocapital. He joined UFG Private Equity in December 2006.
