NORWAY - Altor sells 50% of Lindorff to Investor
Altor has sold 50% of Lindorff Group AB, a debt collections company, to Investor AB in a transaction that values the company at an enterprise value of EUR 1.16bn. Altor retains the remaining 50%.
Altor 2003 Fund acquired Lindorff Holding AS in 2004 for an undisclosed sum from Gjensidige NOR. At the same time, Altor purchased Contant Oy, a Finnish debt collection company, from Sponsor Capital in a secondary buyout and the two companies were merged to create the largest receivables collection company in the Nordic region.
