SPAIN - Nmás1 invests in vending machine operator
Dinamia Capital Privado and Nmás1 Private Equity Fund have acquired 100% of Servicio de Venta Automática S.A. (Serventa) in a deal valued at around EUR 30m. The company was purchased from Urex Inversions S.A., which forms part of Altadis. The transaction is an MBO and Serventa’s management team is expected to take a stake in the shareholding structure in the coming months.
Serventa operates vending machines that provide hot and cold drinks and snacks. Present in 10 regions of Spain, the company has over 12,000 vending machines and provides services to more than 2,500 companies. In 2005 the company registered turnover of EUR 33m.
