3i announced it has agreed to back a management buyout of Passau-headquartered Euro-Druckservice AG from Verlagsgruppe Passau GmbH. The transaction value has not been disclosed.

Euro-Druckservice AG (EDS) was established in 1992 and has since developed a strong presence in Central and Eastern Europe, with operations in the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. In 2006 EDS reported a turnover of approximately EUR 200m.
