
SWITZERLAND – AFINUM buys Pinova AG
AFINUM Management GmbH has wholly acquired Pinova AG from its founders for an undisclosed amount. The institution made the investment through its fund AFINUM Fünfte Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co KG.
Pinova AG is an independent manufacturer of pigment pastes and tinting systems. Its products are used for architectural paints and plasters, decorative coatings as well as for industrial and wood paints and lacquers (all 1-component and 2-component products). Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Lengnau, Bern Kanton, the company operates under the brand Novapint. In 2006 it generated sales of approximately CHF 30m, while employing 25 staff.
