
EUROPE - EVCA Venture forum sets out venture strategy
EVCA announced a venture capital Action Plan and 100 days of activities as part of its strategy for European venture, at its 10th Annual Venture Capital Forum, held in Stockholm today. The meeting of venture industry figures from across Europe is the first since EVCA decided to refocus its activities into the three platforms of venture, mid-market buyout and large buyout in the summer. Heading up the new venture capital platform is Georges Noël, previously director of research, public affairs and development at EVCA, he has been involved in the private equity and venture capital industry for over 18 years.
