
Colony Capital reshuffles European leadership

US private equity house Colony Capital has appointed Jean-Romain Lhomme and Nadra Moussalem as co-heads of Colony Europe.
Principals Lhomme and Moussalem will take up their roles on 2 September. They will replace CEO Sébastien Bazin, who has resigned to become chairman and CEO of French hotel group Accor.
With 13 years' experience at Colony, Lhomme and Moussalem will be responsible for managing the firm's existing portfolio in Europe.
Prior to joining Colony in 2000, Lhomme worked for French retail group PPR. He previously worked as an analyst in New York and Brazil for Paribas and as an analyst for Mercer Management Consulting in Paris. Lhomme graduated with a degree in business administration and finance from HEC Graduate Business School in Paris.
In addition to his role at Colony, Moussalem is also the chief executive officer of Data Europe. Prior to joining Colony in 2000, Moussalem worked for AXA in Paris in the financial products engineering department. Moussalem graduated from the Ecole Centrale in Lyon with a master's degree in information technology.
Colony invested €1bn in Accor in 2005. Colony Capital is a reference shareholder of Accor, But, Carrefour, Colonial, DIA, Edenred and Inmobiliaria Colonial.
