UK - Alexander Forbes launches Private Equity and Corporate Acquisitions Practice

Alexander Forbes International Risk Services (AFIRS) has launched a Private Equity and Corporate Acquisitions Practice (PECAP) to provide insurance and risk transfer services to businesses undertaking corporate and M&A activity. Oliver Crispin, previously vice president at Marsh has been appointed to head the new practice.

Oliver has specialised in advising private equity funds and corporations on risk and insurance in relation to buyouts, acquisitions and disposals since 1989. He previously worked at March, Citicorp Insurance Brokers and Sedgwick; he developed a practice advising banks on their interests in the energy sector and infrastructure investments before moving into the M&A sector.
