UK/US - Head of Citi PE leaves
The head of Citi Private Equity, John Barber, is leaving the firm after 14 years.
Citi's new global CEO Vikram Pandit announced in January that the group would be split into two arms - Citicorp and Citi Holdings. Citi Private Equity, which emcompasses funds-of-funds, co-investment and mezzanine activity, will become a part of Citi Holdings. The business which has offices in London and New York, has made more than 300 fund investments and 75 direct investments.
