UK - ECI sells Bounty for £70m
ECI Partners has agreed to sell Bounty, the UK’s largest parenting club for £70m. The acquirer is Kaboose, the largest independent family-focused online media company in North America. Since funding the management buyout of Bounty in December 2004, ECI has seen the company broaden its client base and product offering to become the UK’s largest parenting club and online community for new and expectant mums. It currently has over 2.4 million members and 50,000 new joiners every month. In 2006, Bounty generated EBITDA of £3.5m on revenues of £19.8m.
