Frieh Bouhenic to merge with DLA Piper
Global law firm DLA Piper is set to expand its French presence by joining offices with local boutique firm Frieh Bouhenic.
The move will be effective from 1 October 2012. DLA's new Paris office will be home to more than 30 partners and 60 other lawyers.
Frieh Bouhenic was established in January 2011 through a merger between French law firms Frieh & Associés and Bouhenic Baudin & Associés. It specialises in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, acquisition and corporate financings, litigation, employment, restructuring and insolvency. The business is currently led by former Linklaters partner Michel Frieh, who will co-head DLA's new Paris office.
