
GERMANY - Halder acquires VAG-Armaturen GmbH
Halder has acquired VAG Armaturen through a management buyout from Equita Beteiligungen Fonds 2 KG, Bad Homburg. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. VAG-Armaturen designs, produces and distributes industrial valves and fittings for the water supply and waste water industry. The products are used in the sourcing, distribution, storage and supply of fresh and waste water. In 2006, VAG generated a turnover of EUR 92m with 850 employees. Besides its headquarters in Mannheim, VAG currently operates three production sites in the Czech Republic, in China and in India. Recently, the company set up subsidiaries in Chile and Poland.
