GERMANY - Arques sells Tiscon to KCK Association
Industrial holding Arques has sold its 60% stake in investment company Tiscon AG to a consortium of investors led by Russia-based KCK Association.
Separately, it emerged today that Arques alongside SKW Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG and SKW Stahl-Metallurgie GmbH in which Arques held positions until 2007, were fined EUR 13.3m by the European Commission. Several other companies in the calcium carbide sector were included the Commission ruling, and total fines amounted to EUR 61.2m for cartel violations. Arques said in a statement they have not yet received the official notification of the fine.
