
SWEDEN - EQT sells HemoCue to Quest Diagnostics
EQT II BV has sold HemoCue, a point-of-care diagnostic testing company, to Quest Diagnostics.
EQT acquired HemoCue in December 1999 from Mallinckrodt Inc. During EQT’s ownership, HemoCue has reshaped the distribution organisation in the US, expanded sales into new markets around the world and significantly increased the R&D efforts.
HemoCue, headquartered in Ängelholm, has annual sales of $90m and 340 staff.
